Small Apartment, Big Life

Our apartment is 800 square feet. Five hundred of those square feet currently belong to our puppy’s chaos. Add in toys, my kiddo's books, and my husband’s shoes (WHY are they everywhere?) and it feels like we’re living in a very cluttered dollhouse.
I used to think “making it” meant a bigger space, a bigger paycheck, a bigger everything. But lately, I’m realizing it’s more about finding peace where you are. Tiny kitchen? Perfect for forcing us to eat dinner together at the same table. No backyard? Perfect excuse to take long family walks.
Yes, I still dream of a bigger place one day. But right now, this cramped little space is home, and it’s full of love—even if it also smells faintly of puppy pee
